Information stored in your browser
The game uses local browser storage to remember the current UTC daily challenge, completed round scores, saved estimates, daily streak, number of completed dailies, and personal best score. These records do not contain a name, email address, advertising identifier, or precise location. They are not automatically synchronized to a server.
You can remove these records through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing storage resets local progress and statistics. Private browsing modes may discard the records automatically when the session closes.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service. That information can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device details, response status, and security signals. Cloudflare’s handling of its platform data is governed by its own privacy commitments.
Analytics and advertising
The site offers optional Google Analytics 4 measurement. Google Analytics does not load unless you select Allow analytics. If you allow it, we use aggregate page, referrer, browser, device, coarse location, and interaction information to understand how the site is used. We do not send your name, email address, saved estimates, daily streak, or game progress to Google Analytics.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser so the site can remember it. You can reopen the choice at any time with Analytics choices in the footer. Declining analytics does not limit the game.
The site does not currently load Google AdSense, personalized advertising, third-party audience pixels, or behavioral marketing scripts. There are no paid ad placements in the game interface.
If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled later, this policy will be updated before that code is deployed. Advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, limit, and personalize ads where permitted. Visitors in regions that require consent would be shown an appropriate consent choice before non-essential advertising storage is used. External links
The sources and editorial pages link to public institutions, scientific agencies, standards bodies, manufacturers, landmark operators, and the independent game that inspired current search interest. Following an external link takes you to another organization’s site. Its privacy policy and security practices apply there.
Children’s privacy
The game is a general-audience educational puzzle. It is not directed specifically to children under 13, and it does not ask players to submit age, school, name, or contact details. If the service later introduces accounts, comments, or user submissions, age-appropriate privacy and moderation controls will be assessed before launch.
International access
The static site can be accessed internationally. Browser-local records stay on the device unless the browser itself synchronizes site data under the user’s separate account settings. Hosting request data may be processed across Cloudflare’s global network as required to deliver and secure the site.
Your choices
- Play without creating an account.
- Clear local progress through browser site-data settings.
- Decline optional analytics or change the choice from the site footer.
- Avoid external links or review the destination’s policy before continuing.
Policy changes
Material changes will be reflected in the effective date and in the relevant section. New analytics, advertising, account, comment, upload, or newsletter features would require a specific disclosure rather than being silently covered by broad language.
